Hi Members,
Its been sometime since we have seen any real action on the PEN and Offline Networking events in Pune. This has been majorly due to our failed attempts at creating networking opportunities parallel to some other groups in this country.
But now learning that what works for them will not work for us, the PEN team is back to launch the Pune Entrepreneurs' Network 2.0 by Mid-July 2008.
This will be the same networking group with additional features like:
• We are going to register as a non-profit organization while still keeping everything free for all members, not including networking event costs and advance membership.
• We will join forces with other international industry associations, chambers of commerce and law groups to hold networking events in 5 major cities where there is a high concentration of business activity.
• We will select a couple of breakfast and lunch designations in Pune where members can always mingle and meet others in a easy casual fashion.
• A monthly newsletter will begin going out announcing industry-wide networking events regardless of whether they are organized directly through our group or not.
• Some specific certification programs may be developed that isn't positioned to compete with the CFA or MBA designation but would simply signify a focused course of study on the subject of finance, business, communication and networking over time.
• We are looking for additional ways that we could expand this group and make it more valuable for everyone involved. If you have some ideas please email them to Shrinath Navghane at shrinath@sdnfinancial.com
• Regardless of where it goes I would like to always stress that the group is a place where everyone is welcome and advice is freely given for the benefit of the group or a group member. If you are looking to be close vested or spamy please keep moving along.

The INTRODUCTORY MEMBERSHIP is now OPEN to first 50 members only who can Register before 15th July 2008. The cost is Rs. 1500 per member for One Year starting 15th July 2008 to 14th July 2009.
The Membership is inclusive of 12 Networking Events, where you will have to pay 'Nominal' Charges only. Non-Paid members will have to pay Premium charges if they want to attend the events.
The Introductory Membership offer will never be repeated, The fees for the next 50 members will be higher as the network grows on the foundation of PEN and my own personal business network of 5000+ Direct contacts around the world including CEO's, Directors, Professionals, Investors, Bankers, Lawyers and Politicians.
International Networking Events in New York and Bangkok will follow.
