to represent IEC Singapore Chapter
One

to promote Singapore Chapter with a launch scheduled around Late Nov-2007 or Dec

Generator Technologies to make alternators at Ranjangaon
Cummins
Generator Technologies India Ltd. is setting up a new facility at
Ranjangaon near Pune to make a smaller range of alternators. It
will start with a capacity of 100 units per day and reach 250 units per day.
Products would also be manufactured in
China
and
UK
from next year. Design and development of these products was
done at Pune.
Mahindra
firm plans to export 250 containers of grapes
Mahindra
Shubhalabh Services Ltd., a Mahindra Group company, has set a target of
exporting 250 containers of grapes (around 3,000 tonnes) in the present grape
season 2007-08. In 2004-05 company had exported 6
containers i.e.72 tonnes, in 2005-06 exported 30 containers and in 2006-07
exported 102 containers.

Industries Ltd. is planning to set up a 1,000 MW gas-based power plant in Pune
district, either at Talegaon or near Shirur.
