Sagar,

You seem to have interesting offer which makes me think why would one shell out more than half the retail price of this vehicle only to lease it for 3 years?

Does Petrol and Driver come FREE? What about value depreciation?

Can't seem to understand the economics here... am sure you can explain for benefit of all members.

Cheers!

Hi Shrinath,

Yes this is only meant for interesting people who really have interest in foreign vehicles and SUV segments.

When we talk about PAJERO 2800 Intercooler Turbo the on road cost of vehicle is 24,00,000. (with accessories)

Lease Offer:
3 years: 12,00,000 INR
4 years: 15,00,000 INR
5 years: 17,50,000 INR

One Time payment option is new trend in Indian markets where any Politician, Industralists, Hotels, Hospital Management, Corporate offices can really make use of.

For e.g.
Ex- Showroom cost of Pajero: 19,00,000 Approx
If vehicle is finance 80% @ 12.5 % Annum, you get 15,20,000 from finance company.
Your per month E.M.I. is 35,000 for 60 months

You pay to showroom:
Finance co: 15,20,000
Down payment: 8,80,000
Total Cost: 24,00,000

Let us see how much you pay at the end of 5 years.
Down payment: 8,80,000
E.M.I (35000X60): 21,00,000
You Pay: 29,80,000 Approx

So instead of investing 29,80,000 approx in buying a car its logic taking car on lease, reason.
1. Vehicle is not in your name, it is in company name.
2. Anybody with black money pays one time, we will issue you monthly car rental bills which you can show as rental expenses in ITR as depreciation.
3. You will get good figures in ITR.

For any further information contact me.

Cool..

I like your statement regarding black money :) haha. Always had a thought how come the politicians roam around in these cars and never claim it to be theirs.

But secondly, PAJERO 2800 is a dated model. I mean compared to the latest SUV's it looks like last generation and has faced lots of critic from the Auto world. Why not a Mercedes C-Class then? Or a BMW 3 Series?

These are interesting cars with brand image too... am sure more black money can be spilled here.

Hi shri,
i hope you know the diffeence in Suv segments and Luxury saloon segment cars, when we talk about critics in pune 25 BMW 3 series cars were return back to showroom, now tell me is it worth buying a 3 series or mercedes C CLass. Then why buy a 3 series there are other models available like skoda Superb, VW Passat, etc

Cheers

Hey Sagar, don't take this personally, you are the expert!

So I think we can ask questions as this is the forum for it. I am yet not convinced why would someone spend this amount of money on leasing.

I have a fair amount of experience in foreign brands and go by the appeal of it, rather than what they are actually made for. I don't think anyone buys SUV's so that they can go off-roading... now if thats to be considered from your last message.

Here we are talking about Money = Value Proposition. Math is easy... but Brand value is not. Mercedes, BMW are high end and VW and Skoda are more mid-range.

Personally I would still buy the Car rather than lease it.. be it SUV or anything else.

Let’s consider this according to you:

Ex- Showroom cost of Pajero: 19,00,000 Approx
If vehicle is finance 80% @ 12.5 % Annum, you get 15,20,000 from finance company.

Your per month E.M.I. is 35,000 for 60 months

Which is fine, but I want to drive this car only for 2 years, after that most warranties and guarantees and free servicing run out.

Finance co: 15,20,000
Down payment: 8,80,000
Total Cost: 24,00,000

Let us see how much I pay at the end of 2 years.

Down payment: 8,80,000
E.M.I (35000 x 24 months): 8,40,000
So I Pay: 16,60,000 Approx

At the end of two years.. I am not interested in driving this Pajero anymore… So I sell it. Considering 30% depreciation (valuation) in Price and thinking that my reselling skills are far better than those Used-Car salesman, I can get a price of:

1,660,000 – 498,000 = 1,162,000

So end of 2 years, I have driven the Pajero and spent about Rs. 500,000 only (tops) and retained most of my money.

Now how does this sound? I may not be very good in math, but investment banking is my domain :)

Just sharing my two cents. Am sure for people who don't want to buy.. Sagar's option is lucrative and even more so for our folks with tons of black money.

Cheers!

Sagar Gaikwad
Appreciated Mr. Shri

I really appreciate your driving, reselling skill but you are very weak in buying skill and finance please start reading books again (just kidding yaar don't take it)...

Now the most important part i will explain you, according to you as follows, if the cost of vehicle is 24,00,000 INR

Down payment: 8,80,000
E.M.I (35000 x 24 months): 8,40,000
So I Pay: 16,60,000 Approx

then Mr. Shri how will you buy the car in 16,60,000 INR whether buy for 1 day or 2 years you have to pay 24,00,000 INR.

If 80% is sanctioned, value is 15,20,000 then E.M.I for 2 years is 72,200 INR so
Down payment: 8,80,000
E.M.I (72,200 x 24 months): 17,32,800
So you Pay: 26,12,800 Approx
now you sell the car and calculate the figures let me know, the profit and loss, i am ready to share my knowledge.

With Best Regards
