We are finally meeting at the first business networking meet of 2008... on Friday 15th Feb. The venue is being discussed also considering the options between a evening event or a afternoon seminar+networking meet.
PEN Members from across international forums have shown interest in this meet and I request the "CORE TEAM" to take active part and help us organize this. Please email me or get in touch with me ASAP.

Well definitely not where there is live music. We are considering something on the lines of the last meet at Soho or then the ICC Trade Center as that gives us more space to experiment around with.
Also... this time the minimum RSVP has to fill in of at least 25 people. So folks.. start confirming your colleagues and friends.

ICC is actually the venue of choice given that we are a purely business networking group and have a international presence. Right now we are looking out for suitable agenda, which the core team is preparing.
This month, we would like all attending members to get along either their friend or colleague and make this a habit.. for successful networking.
Any suggestions?

Evening seems to be everyones option. But lets see.. now with RSVP's we are even considering date revision. Mr. Kunnur and Inderpal have been talking to me on the phone.. so we all in touch.
Lets meet once informally.. and then we can have the Mixer. What say?

Lets meet early this week (anytime over the next two days) to finalise the plans for the networking meet.
Even though a large number is preferred, the final RSVPs would help us to identify/finalise the venue.
It would also help if all members who RSVP a "Yes", would also mention their contact numbers so we could keep in touch for finalising meet details.

ICC has a good ambience, so I second that suggestion.
I was looking for an RSVP link, then I realized that you are yet to finalize and so may not have it there. But I was wondering if there could be others who are not RSVPing because they are not seeing that link there.

An RSVP link will be posted soon. But we have come to notice (over years) that no one really takes RSVP seriously. So the Core Team is working on a long term solution which will be a win-win situation for all.. Members and the Networkers.

Welcome back! Nah I don't think we can have the mixer on 15th due to RSVP concerns. Anyways we are meeting on Wednesday evening.. I think Camp (MG Road) Barista is an excellent venue. This will be a Core team meeting.
Lets all core team members meet around 6-6:30 pm. What Say?

So Core Members.. we are meeting today at 6:00 PM in Barista on M.G. Road in Pune Camp. The easiest place to park would be in the lane of Grand Hotel.. of course 2-wheelers are not a problem on MG road :)

I think the Conference-model suits us better. This way only serious members who are keen to network show up versus the ones who want to have a laid back evening.
Since we are unable to decide anything until now.. I suggest we have a emergency meeting of Core Members only where we should implement the new model for Mixers and other events.
